Respawn In the Map Device Area
You can try to fix the POE2 Map Device not working problem by respawning on the Map Device area.
According to the reports, players are encountering this problem due to a bug available in the game.
If you try respawning to the Map Device area, it may be possible that it will resolve your problem.
To do so, go back and stand on the “Way Point” and open the map.

Once the map is opened, select the Map Device location again.

If it does not work for the first time then you need to respawn to the Map Deviec area multiple times.
Spawn to Another Location
If you have tried respawning to the Map Device area multiple times but are still encountering the same problem then you should consider spawning to another location and then respawning to the Map Device area again.
On Reddit, some players have mentioned that they fixed this problem by spawning to another location on the map and then respawning back to the Map Device location.
To do so, stand on the “Way Point” and it will open the map. Now, select any location on the map and click on it.

After that, click Enter and it will teleport you to another location. Now, walk around in that location for a few seconds, and then go back to the Map Device location.

Restart the Game
If respawning to the Map Device location does not fix your problem, you should consider restarting the game.
To do so, close the game and open the Task Manager. On the Task Manager window, go to the Processes tab.

Verify Game Files
