Valorant Comms Not Working

Valorant is a popular first-person shooter game developed and published by Riot Games.

In this game, players choose different characters and form a team. Since Valorant is a multiplayer game, it is crucial to have communication between players.

Having communication with other players helps them make strategies and defeat bosses or enemies in the game.

Unfortunately, some Valorant players are encountering issues while communicating with their teammates.

Many Valorant players took to social media and reported that they were facing the Valorant Comms not working problem.

If you are also facing the same problem and cannot communicate with other players in Valorant then look no further as we got you covered.

Without any further ado, let’s get started:

Valorant Comms Not Working Problem Fix (2025)

Connect Audio Device Correctly

Before you apply any technical method to resolve the issue, make sure your audio device is connected to your computer or console.

Sometimes, players don’t get any sound and are unable to interact with other players in their teams because their audio device is not connected properly.

In that case, you should check your device and make sure it is connected.

If you are using wireless audio devices then open the Bluetooth settings to disconnect and reconnect it again.

If you are using the wired audio device then unplug and replug to check if it is working.

Check Input & Output Device Settings

If your audio device is connected but you are unable to talk to other players in the game, you should check the input and output device settings.

It is possible that the input and output device setting is not set on the device you are using.

To check it, right-click on the Sound Icon on the taskbar and select Open Sound Settings

Now, make sure to set your headphones or headset as an output device and the microphone you are using as an input device.

To do so, use the steps mentioned below:

  • First, press the Windows key on your keyboard.
  • From the menu, click on the Gear Icon to open the Settings
  • Under settings, select Privacy

  • Click on the Windows Search Bar and search for the Device Manager
  • Open the Device Manager and click on the “Audio Inputs and Outputs” option to expand.
